Fujimoto discusses how he got his nickname; and talks about growing up in Bell, California including talking about his family, his father’s occupation on a farm, and his own duties helping out on the farm. He then continues to talk about his childhood and discusses playing softball, going to school, his neighborhood, and going to Japanese school. Next, Fujimoto talks about living in Japan for two years as a child, returning to the United States, attending Buddhist church, and going to the movies. Lastly, Fujimoto discusses the attack on Pearl Harbor and the curfew that followed, and recalls the time when the FBI went to his home and arrested his father.
