He then talks about Executive Order 9066; and discusses his family’s forced removal to Salinas temporary detention facility and having to leave belongings behind. Lastly, Omoto discusses traveling to Poston incarceration camp; his impressions of Poston; and his experiences there including working, the weather, and the wildlife in Arizona.
