Hashimoto recalls a story about Sadao "Spud" Munemori, then briefly discusses the Asiatic Campaign, which he was not a part of. He then talks about getting discharged, traveling back to the United States, and moving to Chicago. In Chicago, Hashimoto got married, had children, attended trade school, and got a job in the electronics industry. He also talks about his experiences with discrimination; and earning a Bronze Star as part of a unit, as well as earning ribbons for his participation in Bruyeres, the Lost Battalion rescue, and the Gothic Line. He also talks about his feelings regarding his war experiences, provides advice for future generations of Japanese Americans, and discusses what life was like after the War, including seeing his family again. Lastly, his wife describes photographs of Hashimoto and his family, his service photos, and photographs of their wedding and anniversary.
