At this point, Margaret is joined by her husband George Oshita, who gives an introduction and talks about his time in basic training at Camp Shelby. He speaks about the discrimination in the South and the generosity of Earl Finch. He also talks about the relationship between the Hawaiian and mainland soldiers throughout the training camps.
