Title
Frank Sadao Mori oral history interview, part 3, of 4, August 18, 2006
Description
Mori continues his discussion on cave experiences while serving overseas in Okinawa. Following Okinawa, he is moved back to the Philippines until the end of the war. After thinking they would be sent back home after the atomic bombs, they are instead routed to Hokkaido in Japan, where he would spend time in Sapporo. Next, he talks about interpreters who had bodyguards and communication back to his family in the states. Mori gets discharged out of Zama and sent back to the United States, where he and his family would try to find a place to settle, moving to California, then Hawaii, and then eventually back to Santa Barbara. He then talks about his family, including his two brothers that also served in the Army.
