Akiyama talks about his first days in the Army which involved basic training at Camp Blanding in Florida. He also talks about his experiences at Camp Blanding during a hurricane; talks about food at Camp Blanding as well as Army rations; and discusses his experiences during KP duty. Next, Akiyama talks about his post-war work at a post office, provides his thoughts regarding going overseas for battle, discusses traveling overseas, and discusses joining up with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Lastly, Akiyama talks about his combat experiences in France, his duties in A Company, training while overseas, his experiences with enemy fire at Po Valley, and discusses soldiers who were killed in action as well as soldiers who were wounded by land mines.

Mizuki discusses various war experiences throughout northern Italy, sharing stories of catching German soldiers unaware and guarding work in Po Valley. Once the war finished, many soldiers purchased Jeeps from the government for $50.00 and drove them around Italy, exploring while on free time. Then, Mizuki talks about his life after his discharge from the Army and settling down in Los Angeles. Last, he speaks about his various career interests, including broadcasting and aerospace.

Description
An account of the resource
Tahara discusses the casualties that the regiment experienced, including one of his closest friends and how the regiment was able to keep it's morale high despite heavy casualties. Next, he discusses the his free time in Nice, and the Champagne Campaign. Following that, they would be sent back to Italy to begin the Po Valley campaign in Carrara. He talks about the various experiences he had there and seeing the German forces retreating. They would march to Genoa, and soon after would hear of the end of the war.
