Arakaki discusses being five points short of being able to go home at the end of the war, so he stayed in Europe and visited Switzerland, Venice, and Rome. He then talks about going to the Mainland and his experiences in New York before going back to Hawaii where he was discharged. Upon returning to Hawaii, Arakaki got a job as a stock clerk in an electronics company, went to trade school due to the G.I. Bill, and later started his own business in the electronics industry. He then talks about meeting his wife, discusses his children and their occupations, and talks about the contributions Nisei soldiers have made to the Japanese American community. Lastly, Arakaki provides a message to future generations regarding the importance of studying and respect, discusses martial arts and Japanese culture, and talks about how he met his wife on a blind date.
