Description
Tsuneishi discusses discrimination and civil rights. After high school he goes to University of California Los Angeles and major in Political Science and minor in English. Then he transfers University of Berkley for Asian Studies in 1941 when the war happens. He recalls the events of December 7, 1941. Tsuneishi's family goes to Heart Mountain Concentration Camp and he goes to an assemble center in Northern California. Tseneishi volunteers to go work on farms. and the War Authority Relocation allows him to continue his education. He is accepted into Syracuse University. After college, Tsuneishi volunteers for the army and and is inducted into the Military Intelligence Service (MIS). His becomes a translator.
