Description
An account of the resource
Iwasaki talks about his involvement with the Lost Battalion campaign. There, he would endure cold weather, including snow, and shooting mortars through heavy forested areas. Following this, they would head to the French Riviera, where they would begin the Champagne Campaign. There they would mostly be involved with rest and relaxation and talking with French civilians. From there, they would head to Po Valley, where they would hear of V-E day. They would continue on through Italy, stopping in Milan before being sent home to the United States. He would return to Hillsboro, taking flying lessons and joining his family on the farm once again.

Description
An account of the resource
Hinatsu talks more about the rescue of the Lost Battalion, including a parade that followed the rescue. Following this they would get some rest and relaxation during the Champagne Campaign, going through the South of France. Shortly after they war would end and they would continue on in Europe for the military occupation. They would help to process the German prisoners of war before returning back to the United States at Newport News. Next, he speaks about receiving the Bronze Star and began his career in farming, settling in Fruitland, Idaho. After this, he talks about his marriage and family background and finishes with a message for future generations.

An account of the resource
Sato begins this portion of the interview by looking through a couple of pictures, and then speaks about his shipment overseas, which took around 11 days in a convoy. When arriving in France, the weather would be cold, having snow on the ground and then joining up with the 442nd's A Company as a replacement. He talks about the some of his war experiences, including seeing German soldiers for the first time and not being able to shower for two months. He also talks about the experience of being in the middle of live combat and even taking care of a cavity during combat.
