Nakasone talks more about the movie "Pearl Harbor" and his disappointment in the accuracy of the film. After this, he talks about the military programs that he has been involved with, including one that helps the Navy establish educational programs. Next, he talks more about his time in occupied Japan, and his involvement with the Allied Translator and Interpreter Section. He would interpret and translate and talks about the interactions with the Japanese civilians. Next, he talks about his furlough to New York City and his shipment from Fort Snelling to Yokohama. He would also be heavily involved with the reunions of the Nisei soldiers, Finally, he speaks about his involvement with the Normandale Garden in Minnesota that honors the Japanese Americans.

In the third part of his interview, Mr. Mac Nagata describes Presidio and the surrounding area, volunteering for the Military Intelligence Service, and what his studies included while at the Military Intelligence Service Language School. In addition, he describes John Aiso and his importance to the MISLS, hearing about the war from soldiers, remembering the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and preparing to be deployed. Finally, this clip is concluded with a discussion of his deployment overseas, traveling by liberty ship, and the strict orders about communication to both his family and friends.

In the second part of Mr. Mac Nagata's interview, he remembers his return to the United States and attending school in Sanger, as well as wanting to become a farmer and focusing on agriculture courses. Next, he describes how he learned to drive and his hard work on the farm, as well as how he was drafted into the Army and how he volunteered for early service. He then describes the conditions at the Presidio Language School.

Thomas Sakamoto shares more personal photographs from his World War II military experience. The first two are from his time spent in Japan at the Lutheran Missionary School in Kyushu. He shares a photo album from the Military Intelligence Service Language School at Camp Savage, Minnesota, as well as a picture of him and his wife. He talks about a photograph of the plaque from the Presidio in San Francisco that commemorates those who studied at the Military Intelligence Service Language School there. Lastly, he shares a photograph of the Japanese delegation signing their official surrender aboard the USS Missouri.

Thomas Sakamoto talks about the wartime atmosphere in Japan prior to the outbreak of World War II. He returned to the United States in the 1930's, where worked on a farm and started a Kendo school. He was drafted into the army in February 1941 and received his basic training at Fort Lewis in Colorado. There he was recruited to the secret Presidio Language School in San Francisco. He later talks about the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and his experience seeing the damaged US battleships enter through the Golden Gate Bridge to be repaired at the San Francisco Harbor.
