She then talks about her activism work which involved changing the name of a road which previously had a derogatory name. She discusses the lengthy process of changing the name of the road which included forming a committee; the involvement of the local government in Texas; personal issues she encountered with racism and receiving threats; and lastly, receiving awards and recognition of her activism after the name of the road was changed. Tanamachi also talks about some of the values she learned from her grandparents and parents; advice for her son and future generations; and discusses the 9/11 attacks. Lastly, Tanamachi shows and describes photographs of her grandmother in Japan; her uncle marching in Bruyeres; her uncle's funeral in Arlington National Cemetery and grave in Epinal, France; and an image that was taken during the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Bruyeres.</text>
