Description
An account of the resource
Tsuji talks about his experiences in combat, including the differences between what was learned in basic training and how things are actually handled on the front lines. He also talks about the various differences between the German and American weapons, and mentions quickly that he was wounded in Bruyeres. After this, he discusses the structure of the 442nd and the companies that were created in order to handle all the variances of war. After this, he talks more about the German weapons that were used throughout the war and the fear that the German 88s brought American soldiers.

Description
An account of the resource
Tsuji continues his recollection of Camp Shelby and being shipped overseas to Oran in North Africa. Spending two weeks there, his regiment awaited their shipment to Naples in Italy where they would begin their first day. Tsuji talks about getting to Naples and immediately seeing the hardships of war. Next, he talks about another war experience, this time getting stuck in the middle of combat on Hill 140. Once being relieved from this battle, Tsuji finds himself needing medical attention and unable to eat food, which he later finds out is hepatitis. Finally, he is able to re-join H company in Florence where the locals continue their lives as if there is no war at all.

Description
An account of the resource
Tsuda talks about the Po Valley campaign and where he was when he hard that the war was over. During this time, he would get hepatitis and be forced to spend a month in the hospital before being able to leave and come back to the United States. Once he returned, he would go to business school and spend time with his family, before working in federal services at Hickam Field for thirty years. After this he discusses his marriage and children backgrounds. He finishes with a message for his grandchildren to study hard and some final notes.

Sato talks about his health and the surgery that he had and the emotions that he has had because of it, which is much different than the Japanese culture he grew up knowing. Next, he talks about being drafted into the Army and being sent to Honolulu's Schofield Barracks before being sent to the mainland to begin his basic training. He would first get to Fort Lewis in Washington before being sent to Camp Wolters in Texas. While there, he and the other Hawaiian soldiers would experience their first snows. Then, he would be sent to Fort Snelling to begin his stint with the Military Intelligence Service. He talks about hearing of the end of war and being shipped overseas to Tokyo and then to the Philippines with ATIS.
