Yano talks more about his war experiences, including his involvement in the Lost Battalion and the food that he would enjoy in Europe. He next talks about the end of the war and his plan to go to occupied Japan to see his mother, but upon returning to California, he found out she had passed away. He would continue to be in the Army reserves but in the meantime, would join his father on the farm, eventually buying the land from him. After this, he talks about his marriage and family background and gives a message for future generations to continue the knowledge of the Nisei veterans. Finally, Yano shows off some of the artifacts he received from the war, including a senninbari and a Nazi medallion.
