Next, Makino talks about his involvement with veterans organizations; talks about the comparisons between Pearl Harbor and 9/11; provides a message to future generations; and provides some thoughts about the war, incarceration, the importance of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and “no-no boys”. Lastly, Makino shows and describes some pictures, a Go for Broke song sheet music; and shows his dog tags and a ring that was made from a 50 cent piece.
