Description

Albert Rosa, a Holocaust survivor, was born in Solonika, Greece on January 25, 1925. During the German occupation of Greece, Rosa and his family were segregated to a ghetto before eventually being sent to Auschwitz Death Camp. Rosa eventually encountered members of the American armed forces and fought alongside them before joining an underground armed Jewish resistance. Rosa eventually immigrated to the United States with his wife and fellow Holocaust survivor, Betty.
