Description

In this video clip, Mary Yamada shares some newspaper clippings about herself becoming the first Japanese American teacher eligible to teach at public schools. She also shares some photographs of herself in her Army Nurse's uniform, her identification card, and some military documents. She displays three army insignia patches from her military services, as well as a booklet about all of the Army, Marine Corps, and Navy insignias.
