Description

Sakai discusses officers in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team; and talks about weapons he carried. Teruya then discusses his first combat experiences in Italy including encounters with German soldiers, mines, seeing soldiers killed in action, and describes tree bursts. Next, Sakai talks about his first combat experiences; soldiers killed in action; weapons; and German equipment. Lastly, Teruya describes German 88mm guns; and Sakai talks about 442nd troop movements and the liberation of Bruyeres.
