Description

Terasaki talks about his combat experiences, his experiences meeting up with a supply train, and discusses the end of the war. He then talks about a memorial service that was held for soldiers who were killed in action, his postwar experiences porcessing German POWs, and talks about what it was like staying in a foxhole. Next, Terasaki talks about the weather in Italy, Army food, a barter system the soldiers had with Italian civilians, and discusses some nontraditional uses for a helmet including cooking and bathing. Lastly, Terasaki talks about the Gothic Line, and his unit receiving a Presidential Unit Citation.
