Description
Sakamoto talks more about the holidays he grew up celebrating, including New Years, where he would enjoy mochi and specialty Japanese foods. He next remembers time that he spent with his mother and father, including seeing his mother's home in Japan and family paintings. Next, he talks about his childhood home, and growing up in the Los Feliz neighborhood where the Disney studio was. After this, he speaks about the values that his parents taught him and keeping up with Japanese traditions like Japanese language school. He would attend regular school as well, where the population was mostly Jewish and he would enjoy spending time with his friends and fishing for small minnows in the Los Angeles River.
