Description

Shiosaki discusses the [Saito] brothers' military service; talks about a Staff Sergeant; and discusses the end of the war including assisting with processing POWs. He then discusses the Army point system; discusses learning about President Franklin Roosevelt's death; and talks about traveling to Switzerland prior to going back home. Next, Shiosaki talks about attending a USO show; discusses returning back to the United States; discusses the most difficult aspect of his Army experience and positive war experiences; and discusses getting discharged and seeing his family again. Lastly, Shiosaki talks about going back to school post-war; discusses his brothers' military service; talks about his brother who was living in Japan; and discusses meeting his wife.
