Seiichi Shimomura oral history interview, part 2 of 5, August 8, 2004
Shimomura discusses his family's business in Japan; commuting to school; and talks about his childhood including discussing his neighborhood, friendships, recreational activities, and playing sports. Next, Shimomura talks about speaking both English and Japanese at home; going to high school; and talks about his family's move to Japan and the reasons why. Lastly, Shimomura talks about attending Japanese language school prior to moving to Japan, going to school in Japan, and describes the Japanese school system.
