Description

Noguchi talks about traveling to the Philippines and his experiences there including living conditions, food, interactions with POWs, and duties interrogating POWs. He then talks about being sent to Japan after the end of the war and his assignment on Kyushu Island; discusses his experiences in Tokyo at Military Intelligence Service (MIS) headquarters; and talks about his interactions with Japanese civilians. Next, Noguchi talks about his assignment and duties in China transporting POWs from China to Japan; his rank; and tells a story regarding seeing a friend who was a POW. Noguchi then talks about his experiences on Kyushu Island including an assignment and investigation in caves, a party, and going to hot springs. Lastly, Noguchi talks about getting discharged and seeing his wife and family again; his post-military employment; his fishing hobby; his relationship with his boss; and his involvement with the American Legion.
