Description

Izui begins his recollection of the 28 day shipment to get to Naples, Italy via the Atlantic Ocean and the initial reactions to arriving in Europe. He talks about the first time he heard gunshots in the distance, and his first day in combat, treating wounded soldiers. Next, he speaks about his medic experiences throughout Italy and France with various divisions.
