Description
Yoshimura discusses his assignments protecting tunnels during the Lost Battalion rescue and while in Sospel, as well as his experiences during the Champagne Campaign. He also talks about communicating with his family during the war, earning a Bronze Star, and his assignment in Italy processing German POWs at the end of the war. After the war Yoshimura returned to the United States and settled in California where he worked as a gardener. Lastly, Yoshimura discusses meeting his wife, his wife's battle with Alzheimer's, and talks about his children and their families.
