He then talks about helping out with his father's gardening business, his experiences after the Long Beach earthquake, his father's life in Japan, religion, and friendships with neighbors. Next, Nagano talks about childhood activities, playing tennis, discusses high school, and talks about learning how to drive. Lastly, Nagano talks about attending UCLA, his experiences with discrimination, and his whereabouts during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
