Description
Oura discusses the Gothic Line battle and what it took to push out the German soldiers that were there to finish off the war. After this, they would be allowed to take passes to certain European cities, but if you had enough points, you could also head back to the United States. Next, he discusses his awards and achievements from the war, including a purple heart, a bronze star and two citations. He would head back to Hawaii, where he would begin his career as an auto mechanic, ending his career with Datsun. He would meet his wife and now has grandchildren.
