Nakabayashi discusses his brother, grandfather, fishing, golfing, and what it was like growing up as a Japanese American in Riverside. He then talks about Japanese American community events, attending school in Poston and his job in Poston drafting for land surveys. Next, Nakabayashi talks about his art hobby, getting drafted, and going to Camp Shelby. Lastly, Nakabayashi talks about basic training, going into town while at Camp Shelby, traveling overseas, and his Pioneer Platoon assignment in France.
