Description

Hagino talks about his experiences in school including discussing influential teachers and going to Japanese language school. He also talks about speaking Japanese at home; his parents' involvement in the Japanese community; and his experiences after high school working and going to college. Next, Hagino talks about the attack on Pearl Harbor and aftermath; volunteering for the Army; and his experiences with discrimination at Schofield Barracks. Lastly, Hagino discusses the formation of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
