Description
Fukunaga discusses traveling from Hawaii to the mainland to go to Camp Shelby for basic training. He then talks about some of his duties during basic training, and his interactions with other soldiers. Next, Fukunaga retells stories he heard regarding incarceration camps, and discusses going overseas to Oran and Naples. He then met up with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and describes some of his combat experiences including interactions with German soldiers, and the battle at Hill 140. Lastly, Fukunaga talks about his experiences in Florence on patrol, and then getting shipped out to Bruyeres and his combat experiences there.
