Description
In 1948, Toshi Beverly Iba returns to the United States. She reunites with her older brother and helps him with his nursery business. Toshi also attends a Los Angeles Costume Design School and later graduates.
In November 1948, Toshi marries Shigeru. She helps Shigeru at his nursery called Rainbow Nursery and raises their three sons. Toshi would like her children to remember their father's contributions to the war. She does not want future generations to experience what the Japanese Americans experienced during World War Two. The Nisei's legacy helps open more opportunities for future generations and gives them a voice.
Shigeru describes photographs of his family and wartime.
