Description
Tsuji begins the interview discussing a big fight that occurred between the caucasian and Nisei soldiers while at Newport News and how the military police had to get involved in order to break up the fighting. Next, he talks about spending a week in Naples after arriving overseas, talking with civilians and exploring different areas. After this, he talks about his first day of combat, digging trenches and given an order to go and check out a house just up the hill. Luckily, he found that the house was abandoned, and they would find German paraphernalia laying around, showing a quick retreat.
