Description
Mr. Yamane describes his duties in the Hawaiian National Guard and discusses his being recalled and sent to the mainland United States as a member of the 100th Infantry Battalion. Mr. Yamane describes his travels from Hawaii to the Port of Oakland, then on to Camp McCoy. While at Camp McCoy, Kazuo volunteered for the MIS program at Camp Savage. He concludes by describing his MIS classes and his visit to an internment camp.
