Description
Harry Akune continues to talk about his experience with the parachute landing on Corregidor Island -- he had been separated from his team, but was luckily not identified as "the enemy." After Corregidor Island, he was sent to Luzon, where he was assigned to interrogate prisoners of war from the Philippine Army. He was then sent to Okinawa, where he was assigned to the 11th Airborne Division at Atsugi Airbase. He describes his experience meeting American prisoners of war, as well as his visit to a women's prisoner of war camp.
