Letter from Yuki Akaki, Technical Sergent, United States Army, to Miss Hatsume Akaki, July 8, 1945

Akaki writes to his sister in the Granada, (Amache) Concentration Camp from Europe. He discusses the weather, his leisure activities including watching an American film, the current book he is reading and other daily activities. He writes of his impression of European women and their physical strength, his growing tiredness of training activities with the war being over and no "prospects" of going to the Pacific.
