Description
Kuwayama discusses his father's upbringing and his subsequent move to New York City. Upon arriving in New York, Kuwayama's father opened a Japanese restaurant and worked in the import/export business. Kuwayama concludes by describing his own childhood and discusses the various ethnic groups in his neighborhood leading to his exposure to many different types of food.
