Description

In the third part of his interview, Mr. Mac Nagata describes Presidio and the surrounding area, volunteering for the Military Intelligence Service, and what his studies included while at the Military Intelligence Service Language School. In addition, he describes John Aiso and his importance to the MISLS, hearing about the war from soldiers, remembering the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and preparing to be deployed. Finally, this clip is concluded with a discussion of his deployment overseas, traveling by liberty ship, and the strict orders about communication to both his family and friends.
