Ikuta talks about some of his Army experiences including his serial number, money he made, encounters with Italian civilians, and his assignment delivering rations. He also talks about Army food, his knowledge of Italian phrases, discusses his T/4 rank, talks about his thoughts regarding joining the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and discusses his relationship with other Nisei soldiers. Next, Ikuta talks about pidgin English, traveling overseas, eating SPAM, arriving in Europe, and his combat experiences while delivering rations. Lastly, Ikuta talks about the aftermath of the Lost Battalion rescue, discusses soldiers killed in action, and talks about 442nd reunions.
