Description

Hirasaki discusses his life after World War 2. He talks about how he reunited with family of origin and eventually created a family of his own. Hirasaki talks about his career in the farming industry, how he tried different aspects of farming. In addition, he talks about what American patriotism means to him and why he prefers to identify as Japanese American as opposed to Asian American; and how the legacy of the 442nd relates to those ideas.
