Description

Sato continues talking about his war experiences such as, going from France back to Italy and members of the unit getting the measles. Around this time, he would receive a flamethrower and would learn how to use that and mix the fluid that is used. Next, he talks about having to dig foxholes and getting their objectives completed, going from town to town as they liberated various towns. He also speaks about the worst experiences he had, getting shaky with fear, seeing friends wounded and sometimes even killed in action. After this, he would experiences the end of the war in Europe, relieved that it would be over but not yet able to leave yet due to the points system.
