Description

Mr. Yabu speaks about his wife's background and discusses attending college and working various odd jobs in San Diego after his discharge from the Navy. Introduced to the Boys' Club by his brother-in-law, Shigeru would go on to work for the Boys' Club for most of his career, working at the Clairemont, Santa Monica, and Camarillo Boys' Clubs. Mr. Yabu discusses his role as director of these clubs and takes great pride in his work he did for the organization. Mr Yabu concludes by discussing his career after the Boys' Club and talks about the importance of staying busy, exercising, and living healthy.
