Description

Muramaru discusses some of his brother’s brushes with death, Army food; and experiences during European campaigns, such as the rescue of the Lost Battalion and encounters with a Brazilian combat team. He then talks about the end of the war, the Army point system, traveling back to the United States, and his guard duty assignment during the German occupation. Lastly, Muramaru discusses his post-war life including returning to Hawaii, meeting his wife, traveling to Japan, and seeing his parents.
