Description

Mr. Hajiro discusses life after the war, including his return trip home, receiving the Distinguished Service Cross and later the Medal of Honor, and his career after the war. Mr. Hajiro reflects on what helped him survive during the war and gives his feelings towards being awarded the Medal of Honor. He concludes by discussing his pride for serving with the 442nd and talks about the impact his actions may have had on future generations.
