Description
Kurahara discusses about camp experiences at Tule Lake Concentration Camp. During this time his Mother is ill and passes away after visiting the children in camp. Only Jan, Kurahara's brother is allow to leave camp to attend their Mother's the funeral in Sacramento. Kurahara remembers his Step Father is the only visitor they family had in camp. Kurahara goes to Camp Blanding for basic training. He recalls his war experiences of Champagne Campaign, Po Valley and the Gothic Line. In battle, Kurahara is wounded and goes to the hospital. He shares a story about being an honor guard and his twin brother being hospitalize.
