Description

Mukai discusses growing up in Hawaii including talking about the plantation town he lived in; and discusses his siblings and parents. He also describes his childhood home, talks about some of the recreational activities he participated in, and discusses school. He then talks about his participation in track meets, chores growing up, and discusses his duties working at a laboratory testing sugar at a plantation. Lastly, Mukai talks about getting drafted, going to church, employment after high school, and discusses his whereabouts during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
