Katagiri discusses returning to the United States, seeing his family for the first time, and his post-war employment. He then talks about getting married, divorced, and remarried. Next, Katagiri talks about his children and grandchildren; and discusses reunion trips back to Europe where he visited the Gothic Line and cemeteries. Lastly, Katagiri provides a message to future generations and his thoughts about the success of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team; talks about his experiences with firearms as a child; and discusses values he learned as a child.
