Ito discusses his experiences interacting with his extended family members while in Japan during the occupation. He also reflects on the legacy of the participation of Nisei soldiers in World War 2 and how Japanese nationals reacted to U.S. occupation. In addition he shares his experience visiting Japan, with his wife, 30 years after the war.
