Description

Mr. Jack Hirose describes becoming the head of the household, forming a community organization for sports called the "Royal Y's," as well as the reaction to the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He talks about the days before the notice evacuation into incarceration camps, the conditions at Manzanar, and the riot that took place in camp. Finally, Mr. Hirose discusses how "Pro-American" families were treated at Manzanar, how he knew the Wakatsuki family, as well as how he met his wife.
