Description

Fukushima discusses his experiences working on a farm; talks about his gymnastics hobby; discusses his childhood friendships; and talks about some of his childhood recreational activities such as his participation in Young Buddhist Association (YBA), rollerskating, and going to the movies. He then provides some thoughts regarding citizenship; alien land laws; and discrimination. Next, Fukushima discusses his family's religion; talks about his childhood experiences with discrimination; and discusses his post high school employment on a farm. Lastly, Fukushima discusses getting drafted and reporting to Fort Ord as part of a medical regiment; and discuses the attack on Pearl Harbor.
