Yoshihara talks about his experiences at Camp Blanding including his first impressions, his platoon sergeant, and basic training. He then talks about preparing to go overseas, and visiting his parents at Minidoka incarceration camp and his experiences in Chicago. Next, Yoshihara talks about traveling overseas and his first experiences in Europe, the weather in France, joining up with the 442nd , and Army food. Lastly, Yoshihara talks about his combat experiences during and after the Gothic Line; discusses his interactions with civilians; guard duty; and talks about getting assistance from the 92nd Infantry Division.
