Description

Konoshima discusses how he ended up joining the Army, despite not being an American citizen. He would not become a citizen until the McCarron-Walter Act would allow him to do so. Next, he discusses the importance of becoming a U.S. citizen and what it was like in that time. After this, he talks about hopes he has for the future and how the kids today are much more tolerant to diversity than ever before, especially having an Black president. He finishes up the interview talking about the background of his wife.
